Ok...here's it: Went back to Kedah with my family for CNY on fri. and only came back on tues. It's been a long time(like 7 years) since i celebrated CNY in M'sia with my grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins there. It's awesome! 'cause it's like more people so more re(4) nao(4) over there then in S'pore. AND i actually learnt how to play cards(gamble) over there. I didn't think I would learn to. =]
Anw, on fri. night, upon reaching my uncle's house in K.L., while entering the lift, the door just closed on me while i was halfway through!(stupid lift, sensor spoilt!--and now i really have lift phobia despite the fact that i was already not very fond of taking lifts).
Although i had a great time in M'sia, something horrible actually took place on the night of Chinese New Year, 14 Feb 2010, 8+ pm...an accident occured and left a person dead...it was a hit-and-run...This accident happened just a few shops down and opposite from my grandparent's...i was watching tv when the thing happened...a loud 'bang' heard...the person knocked down was an indian middle aged man. He had a family. His son was crying for his dad when the man was declared dead...
That night, the sky was so clear that when you raise your head to the night sky, you could see a whole stretch of stars twinkling above...
Also, fireworks were seen being put off from the other side of town...celebrations carried on as they were not aware of the accident here...
However, what put me off most was the seriousness of racism...just because the person is of a different race than you or a race that you do not prefer doesn't mean you can just pretend and not offer to help...and the person who said this actually doesn't think it's wrong of him to say this......
It's just so sad to hear and see that...and according to my uncle who lives in this part of Kedah, this area is an accident prone area especially at night. And from what i see, it's not surprising as the area is not well lit by street lights, the fact that only one side of the road is lined with street lights and that most of the vehicles are speeding along this road......

*Each day, while we are happily living our lives, who knows, something devastating may be happening or have happened on the other side of the world...families may be grieving for their loved ones......*
